It took me a while to get into the video but once I did I thought it was pretty good, If it moved faster it might have been better.

Great video. it is very thought provoking. The world is changing so quickly and there is so much to learn. It makes me wonder if the technology we are learning today is going to be there tomorrow.

John, Thanks so much for taking the time to watch the video and providing feeback. I think one of the reasons the video is shown at the slow speed is so that you have a chance to think about what is being said before the next comment/fact appears.

Well the video was kinda wierd and hard to follow.. But it was very interesting. There was alot of things in there i did not know like there were 31 babies born in 8 seconds and most married people met on the internet. I never new there were over 60million people on my space and there were 100milloin people on youtube.

Mr. Lane it looks as though some of the students who watched the video thought it was BORING! What a word! I wonder if we could find a different word to use in it’s place? Think, Think, Think…. I KNOW!!! Let’s make an upcoming Word of the Day selection be a possible replacement for the “boring” word.

Dear Mr.Lane
Hey I thought the little video was cool, i liked the music. It taught me that technology is very much our future, it’s a lot more than i expected. Like i use technology for fun (like myspace, youtube, etc. and i also i have a phone for texting my homies and talking to my boyfriend) but there is a lot more for us to discover. It’s cool that people (teachers and kids) can think together about whats going to happen in fifteen years or even more. Just imagine.

Okay… It looks as though everyone has weighed in with their thoughts on the video who is going to do so.
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me what you thought — you provided some amazing feedback. I noticed that some of you thought it was too slow (or boring) while others of you found that it provided some information that you hadn’t seen before. All in all, I am veyr with the response and will use what you provided to guide our work in the future.
Before we move completely beyond this first assignment I wanted to respond to some of your invidual comments…
Gisela, how can something be interesting and boring at the same time?
Bailey, I agree that the frequency in which babies are born is truly mind-blowing. I would love to know if the experts think babies will continue to be born at this rate or will it go up (or down) in the future.
VP, I will put cooler videos on this blog if YOU will help me find them. Can you help me?
Amber, I am glad to hear that you found something in the video that you could apply to your own life. I know you will do well in college and find the experience more rewarding than just simply getting the degree. The journey is the education!!!
